Vendor Management Analyst New York, New York

We are seeking a Vendor Management Analyst to support our growing consulting team. In this role, you’ll help manage vendor relationships across categories such as market data, IT, and professional services. You’ll assist our Relationship Managers in maintaining accurate records, resolving invoice and contract issues. As part of a management consulting firm, you’ll work across multiple clients, gaining exposure to a variety of projects and services.

This is an entry-level role with room to grow into Specialist or Service Lead positions. You’ll develop vendor management expertise while building relationships across multiple industries and clients.

This is a junior level role with a good faith salary compensation between $42,500.00 – $50,000.00 annually. Actual compensation is guided by various factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. In addition, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with a company match along with vacation and sick days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain vendor and contract inventory, tracking terms, pricing, and renewals.
  • Utilize contract management systems (CMS) and contract lifecycle management (CLM) software.
  • Use Account Payable systems to conduct and support invoice review, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
  • Assist with vendor onboarding, due diligence, and performance tracking.
  • Communicate with vendors and clients to gather documentation and resolve requests.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to support account managers and clients.
  • Contribute to process improvements and documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Analytical mindset.
  • Familiar with the Microsoft 365 product suite.
  • Strong to advanced Excel skills.
  • Comfort with data management tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Eagerness and willingness to learn new skills (i.e. CMS and CLM software; Accounts Payable systems/software)

Work Arrangement

This is a full-time position with normal Monday through Friday business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. This position operates in a professional home office environment and role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers and phones. Must reside within the US in the Eastern time zone; ideally the New York Metropolitan area.
